Description

Situated in the scenic Intendance Bay on the southwest coastline of Mahe the Banyan Tree commands a majestic view of the Indian Ocean. The swaying palms and lush vegetatation and the exotic flaura and fauna combine to “invigorate the soul and rejuvenate the senses”.

There are 60 villas in all decorated in the ‘colonial’ and ‘plantation’ style with high sloping ceilings, airy verandas and the use of ethnic woven fabrics. Each villa has its own private infinity pool, spacious living and dining areas and bathroom with double vanity. Hillside villas are perched on the hilly slopes and have separate bedroom and dressing room, indoor sunken bath, private pool and sundeck.

There are 3 restaurants to tempt the pallet serving a variety of international flavours, or you can choose to have a beach picnic enhanced with wines from the cellar and gourmet creations from the chef, or In-Villa dining or barbecue if you prefer.
