The Banyan Tree, Maldives, Madivaru is a truly unique experience. The resort, situated on the North Ari Atoll is just a 30 minutes journey from the airport at Male, It offers a cluster of 6 tented villas on this private island. However this is no standard camping trip, it is a luxurious, intimate experience; a place for perfect relaxation in a stunning setting. Madivaru island with its pristine white sandy beach, spans 16,000 sqm and boasts a clear blue lagoon surrounded by breathtaking house reefs.

Each villa consists of three individual tents with silken canopies, wooden flooring handcrafted furniture and distinctive decor, which are equipped to function as living, sleeping, and bathing areas. The bath tent includes two of spa beds for your own in-villa treatments that include signature Banyan Tree Spa massages and facials. It has its own plunge pool and private deck.

Guests can choose to dine at the Boa Keyo Restaurant, eat in the comfort of their own villa or dine on an exclusive private sandbank with the waves lapping at their feet.

Facilities

Water sports (canoeing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, various motorised water sports, banana boat riding.) The dive centre offers PADI courses and The Madi, a traditional Turkish Gulet provides weekly sailing excursions.

Excursions include local island tour, snorkelling safari, night fishing, dolphin cruise and sunset cruise.
