Description

Discovery at Marigot Bay is located 5 miles south of Castries on the west coast of St Lucia. A member of Leading Small Hotels of the World, it is carved into a lush tropical hillside, with dramatic views of the bay and gardens and out to the harbour. The novelist James A Michener described Marigot Bay as "the most beautiful bay in the Caribbean,"

There are 57 suites (half have outdoor jacuzzis) & 35 rooms set amid the lush tropical gardens designed by leading landscape gardening expert Veronica Shingleton-Smith. All units can be one, two or three bedroom suites, and most units offer balconies overlooking the Bay. All bedrooms have king-size beds, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, hardwood floors and large balconies.

Discovery’s restaurants offer everything from haute cuisine to simple snacks. Enjoy the colonial charm of The Boudreau, or the harbourside buzz of The Coffee Dock. There are several bars, the Pink Snail, which is a tribute to the film Dr Dolittle, and the world famous Hurricane Hole Bar restored to its former glory. There’s dancing under the stars and local musicians and entertainers showcasing their talents.
