This hotel’s blend of tropical and colonial architecture gives an elegant setting for a prefect vacation. It is located in the middle of a park with breathtaking views of Turtle Bay, the first national park for marine life on Mauritius. The turquoise waters of Indian Ocean sparkle and and a trip in a glass-bottomed boat will reveal the underwater world in all its technicolour glory. A true paradise – and not just for scuba divers! It lies on a 25 hectare private estate known as Balaclava, an historical estate dating back to the 18th century, along Turtle on the north-west coast of Mauritius, which is the sunniest region of Mauritius. There is a wealth of natural scenery with lush tropical vegetation, mysterious ruins, footpaths and the River Citron with its dams and cascades. The white sandy beach is 500m long and protected by a coral reef (excellent snorkelling).
