Description

The world famous designer John Rocha is responsible for the original design of the Morrison, which opened in 1999 with its unique "East Meets West" theme. The interior of this luxury boutique hotel is a mix of high ceilings with pale white walls, original art, stone floors and beautiful grey hand crafted Irish carpets. Cool Luxury! Located in the centre of town by the River Liffey it is close to the shopping districts, theatres, bars and restaurants of Dublin’s centre.

Recently expanded to incorporate the hotel’s original accommodation they have opened a new wing of 48 bedrooms bringing the total number of rooms and suites to 141. Accommodation is stylish and superbly appointed with Frette linen and soft duvets and pillows; all rooms are fully air conditioned, each room offers a flat screen interactive TV, a CD player or an iPod docking station, safe, mini bar, salon hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathrooms feature aromatherapy toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. They also offer complimentary broadband Internet access in all rooms.

Facilities

The Café Bar is located at the front of the Morrison hotel and overlooks the River Liffey. It features comfortable leather couches and armchairs in which to and enjoy a coffee or bite to eat. An exciting cocktail choice and evening light bites menu completes the Café Bar experience.

Morrison Bar is the newly opened bar at the Morrison. It is an intimate bar located at the front of the hotel overlooking the Liffey It is of chic design with brown leather sofas and a sprinkling of colourful velvet cushions. The stunning Rose picture of Bob Dylan is the focal point of this Bar and a much talked about piece of art.

Halo restaurant at the Morrison hotel, Dublin, has been newly restyled and has created a more relaxed approach to dining in Dublin through its friendly service.
