Description

The Dominican Hotel is located in the historic part of Brussels in the Rude Leopold behind the theatre La Monnaie, off the Grand Place. The high ceilings and cloisters incorporated in the hotel’s design are reminiscent of the Dominican Abbey located on this spot in the 15th Century. The site was also once home to the artist Jacques-Louis David; the original façade of the building at that time has remained intact and is integrated into the design of the hotel

Facilities

All rooms are non-smoking and have been individually designed to produce a unique atmosphere; their layout around a central courtyard serves as a central focal point. Use of luxurious textiles and rich colours have been applied throughout.

The Grand Lounge is a stylish restaurant at the heart of the building adjacent to the inner courtyard. The Lounge Bar combines a traditional café and stylish lounge.

The Sauna and Gym (newly opened in Jan 2008) offer full range of treatments and equipment.
